Kuba is the founder of bioCatalyst and has worked in executive recruitment for over a decade, with a primary focus on leadership roles within healthcare and life sciences across Europe and the US. His approach combines a deep understanding of market dynamics with a pragmatic, results-driven mindset.
Before founding bioCatalyst, Kuba worked with both a boutique life sciences executive search firm and a global strategic consulting business within the world’s largest healthcare investor relations group. These experiences shaped his perspective on how executive hiring can directly influence corporate growth, partnerships, and long-term value creation.
Having lived in Poland, France, Spain, and now Oxford, UK, Kuba brings an international mindset and cultural fluency to every engagement. Known for his diligence and thoughtful approach, he is personally involved in each project from first conversation to final offer — ensuring consistency, transparency, and strong outcomes for clients and candidates alike.

Gabriela Vilema Enríquez
SCIENTIFIC ADVISOR
Gabriela is an accomplished scientist with expertise in neuroscience, stem cell research and drug discovery. She’s had a particular focus on finding cures for diseases such as Friedreich's Ataxia, Parkinson's Disease, and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). She has a strong background in both biotech and academia, and a passion for advancing treatments for diseases with unmet medical needs.
Gabriela holds a PhD in Physiology, Anatomy, and Genetics from the University of Oxford, complemented by an MSc in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Sorbonne University.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Gabriela is actively engaged in sustainability initiatives within the scientific community and serves as a mentor to aspiring medical professionals.
Gabriela provides strategic guidance on candidate evaluation, industry insights, and networking within the international life sciences community. Her deep subject matter knowledge, leadership experience, and commitment to diversity and inclusion enhances the firm’s capabilities in identifying and placing top talent.
